Falconry glove care: It is recommended that you DO NOT treat with any oils or other leather treatment products on any falconry gloves. Some of these products can create pits or pockets in the leather which can harbor disease causing pathogens to remain on the glove. Additionally, these oils can breakdown the stitching strength and decrease the durability of your glove. It is also recommended, for the health of your hawk, that you begin each hawking season with a new falconry glove! Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee any gloves which have been treated because, as previously mentioned it breaks down the durability of the glove. Most important always discard your falconry glove if you hawk has been sick and/or is being treated for parasites to avoid re-infection. Never use the same glove with multiple hawks or falcons.
